  • DESCRIPTION OF NURSING CARE FOR BREAST CANCER (CA. MAMMAE) PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC PAIN IN JANGER WARD MANGUSADA BADUNG HOSPITAL 2018 ABSTRACT Breast cancer is a malignant neoplasm that grows abnormal of breast tissue with overgrowth and lack of coordination with normal tissue growth, growing infiltrative, and destructive and can metastasize. The main problem most commonly caused by breast cancer is chronic pain that spreads in the breast and accompanied by a clear lesion. This aims of this study to determine the description of nursing care for breast cancer (ca. mammae) patients with chronic pain in Janger Ward Mangusada Badung Hospital in 2018. Type of research used is descriptive study with case study design of at least two nursing documents observed using documentation studies by observing the patient's nursing documents. The data collection tool is an observation guideline. The results showed that there were similarities between two breast cancer patients (ca. mammae) who experienced chronic pain in documenting nursing care in the ward but had some differences with the theory used as a reference by researcher on assessment to evaluation. The result of this study recommended for the hospital is to improve the knowledge and skills of documenting the nursing care to the current reference of the Indonesian Nursing Diagnosis Standart.
