ABSTRACT
Clean and Healthy Behavior (PHBS) is a reflection of family life patterns that become health habits including the availability of healthy latrines. Latrines are human waste disposal unit equipped with a septic tank and water. Based on data from the Tabanan III Health Center in 2019, in Delod Peken village there were 2690 households and those who did not use healthy latrines were 34 (1.3%) households. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence clean and healthy living behavior in the use of healthy latrines. This type of research is observational analytic with case control method. The total sample of 68 households by using purposive sampling technique. Statistic test used Chi-square analysis. Statistical test results obtained p> α (0.05) there was no effect of education, attitude and availability of land to the use of healthy latrines, and p <α (0.05) no effect between jobs, knowledge, income and the availability of clean water to the use of healthy latrines. It is recommended that health workers be more active and creative in providing health education about PHBS and the use of healthy latrines and people are expected to actively PHBS by using healthy latrines.
