  • Singaraja City as an education city has attraction for migrant residents with the daily amount of waste generated is 3,503.07 m3 per day. The problem in this study is whether there are differences in knowledge, attitudes and actions in sorting waste from Puskesmas employees before and after counseling using media booklets. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in knowledge, attitudes and actions for sorting waste before and after counseling by using a media booklet at Puskesmas Buleleng III in 2020 with the type of quasi-experimental research, one group pre-test and post-test design. This analysis uses the Wilcoxon test. The research hypothesis is that there is an influence of counseling using media books about knowledge, attitudes and actions for sorting waste from health center staff at Puskesmas Buleleng III. the results of the study that there are differences in knowledge, attitudes and actions before and after counseling using media books with a value of p (knowledge) 0,00, p (attitude) 0,00 and p (action) 0,00. It is hoped that the puskesmas will continue to make efforts to promote health by optimizing health promotion officers and health workers in an effort the quality of the health.
