- The existence of garbage is very impact or influence for the community, because garbage can transmit disease through vector like flies. As we know flies can be very fast breeding in places that are dirty, smelly, moist like garbage, because garbage is a source of food for flies. This research is done to find out if there is a waste management relationship with the number density of flies in the market TPS Pudak Batubulan. This type of research is analytic survey research with cross sectional method. With the number of samples taken is 58 and analyzed on Chi-square. Based on the results of the research that has been done in the TPS Pasar Pudak Batubulan has high flies density of 81% and the density of invalidity is not high 19%. Based on the results of observation D TPS is a cause of high density flies because it is caused by the amount of waste meat, fish, residual food so that is in the TPS. Based on the chi-square test with p-value 0.016 > 0.05 which means there is no link between garbage collection with the level of FLIES density in the TPS Pasar Pudak Batubulan. Whereas based on the chi-square test with p-value 0.000 < 0.05 which means there is a link between garbage sorting with THE level of flies density in the TPS Pasar Pudak batubulan. Therefore, traders and officers are expected to do better waste processing to reduce the density of high flies in the TPS. Keywords: market, waste management
