  • DIFFERENCES IN NUTRITIONAL STATUS BASED ON PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AND FRUIT AND VEGETABLE CONSUMPTION HABITS IN ADOLESCENTS AT JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL NUMBER 2 IN NORTH KUTA ABSTRACT Nutritional status is the state of the body as a result of food consumption and the use of nutrients in the body. One of the factors that influence nutritional status is the consumption of nutrients and physical activity. This study aims to determine differences in nutritional status based on physical activity and fruit and vegetable consumption habits in adolescents at junior high school number 2 in north kuta. This type of research is Observational with a cross-sectional research design. This research was conducted in January 2020, taken with a purposive sampling method of 103 people. Data collection by interview for fruit and vegetable consumption using the SQ-FFQ form and physical activity with a questionnaire. Data analysis using Chi-Square. The results showed differences in nutritional status based on physical activity (p = 0.010), type of fruit consumption (p = 0.280), type of vegetable consumption (p = 0.007), frequency of fruit consumption (p = 0.091) and frequency of vegetable consumption (p = 0.002) and so it can be concluded that there are significant differences in nutritional status based on the type of vegetable consumption, vegetable frequency and physical activity while based on the frequency and type of fruit consumption the nutritional status differences are not significant. It is expected to further increase consumption of vegetables and fruit because it is good for health and also diligent in physical activity.
