- DESCRIPTION THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND BEHAVIOR OF USE PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT ON GARBAGE BANK OFFICERS IN SAYAN VILLAGE OF UBUD DISTRICT REGENCY 2020 (This study conducted in Garbage Bank, Sayan Village of Ubud District Regency 2020) Abstract Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a device used by workers in order to protect itself from potential dangers and accidents that can likely occur in the workplace. The purpose of this research is to know the level of knowledge and behavior of uses personal protective equipment on garbage bank officers in Sayan Village, Ubud regency 2020. The type of this research used an observation method with a descriptive approach which was conducted in January to May 2020 was done in Garbage Bank, Sayan Village, Ubud District, Gianyar with the number of respondents as many as 40 people. Data were collected by using questionnaire sheet and observation sheet. The results of this study from 40 people, 27 people (67.50%) had a good level of knowledge and 13 people (32.50%) had a bad level of knowledge about the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Meanwhile, 21 people (52.50%) had a bad behavior and 19 people (47.50%) had a good behavior. The conclusion is the knowledge level of the garbage bank officers are good and behavior is relatively bad. The advice that can be submitted are to improve monitoring, counseling, and coaching occupational safety and health. For garbage bank officers are expected to increase awareness of the importance of use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Keywords: knowledge, behavior, Personal Protective Equipment
