- ABSTRACT. Sixteen percent children under five year suffered by disorder development in Indonesia on 2005. Anticipatory guidance is advice to anticipate health problem or development problem in children. Based on study with 10 mothers in Denpasar, all mothers didn’t know about anticipatory guidance. This study aimed to indentified mother’s knowledge about anticipatory guidance before and after has health education with leaflet, to analysis different of mother’s knowledge before and after has health education. This study wasPreexperimental Design (Pretest-Posttest Non-Equivalent Control Group). The sample were 20 mothers. Mean of mother’s knowledge before get health education with leaflet was 41.4. Mean of mother’s knowledge after get health education with leaflet was 80.4. Increased of mother’s knowledge after get helath education was 39.0 than before get health education, so there was the benefit of elucidation to increase of mother’s knowledge about anticipatory guidance with value of probabilty was 0.00.
