- DESCRIPTION OF SANITATION IN TIRTA SRINADI POOL YEAR 2018 Abstract Tirta Srinadi swimming pool opened on April 13, 2012. It is located in Banjar Minggir, Gegel village, Klungkung regency and it has two swimming pools. The number of visitors that visit Tirta Srinadi Swimming Pools every day is around 250 people. Preliminary observations showed that the floor around the pool is slippery, there also no hand washing place and the smell of chlor is too stinging. Visitors claimed that they have eyes irritation, itching, and dry skin after swimming in the pool. This research is conducted to find out the swimming pool sanitation condition which includes swimming pool water quality, sanitation facility, and the construction of the building in the swimming pool. The research result category is divided into two: the sanitary condition does not meet the requirements if the point is around 0-29, and the sanitary conditions meet the requirements if the point is around 30-58. The results showed that Tirta Srinadi Swimming Pool fulfilled the requirements because from 58 items examined there were 44 points "Yes" and 12 points "No". Based on this research there are some suggestions for the management of Tirta Srinadi Swimming Pool: to always maintain the cleanliness of the swimming pool environment and the chemicals dosage need to be adjusted to the water volume of the swimming pool. Therefore it will not cause negative effects on the visitors. Keywords: Sanitation, public places, swimming pools
