- Work environment is an important part of a company. One of the health and safety issues that can degrade work performance is noise in an industry. the purpose of the research undertaken is to determine the noise level and subjective complaints of labor in Laundry Jasmine. In this study the authors use descriptive research. The average total noise intensity during the three-day measurements at each measurement point was 88.4 dB (A) and the drying section was 87.9 dB (A) which means the Jasmine laundry noise intensity exceeds the Threshold which the noise standard in the working environment is 85 dB (A). The result of observation that has been done to the labor in the laundry industry Jasmine found that as many as 14 people complained and 6 people did not complain. Things that can be done to overcome the problem include noise reduction at the source, making the bulkhead using permanent wall paired with silencers and manpower equipped with self-protective equipment ie earplugs or plugs such as ear plug tool
