TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN TENTANG KARIES GIGI PADA SISWA KELAS V DI SDN 13 DAUH PURI DENPASAR BARAT TAHUN 2019

- Oral health can affect general health. Dental caries is the most common desease from dental and oral health disorders. Children in 6 to 12 years old are very susceptible to dental caries. This study was conducted to determine level of dental caries knowledge of fifth grade student at SDN 13 Dauh Puri in 2019. This is descriptive study with number of sampel is 44 respondents, and the data were collected by questionnaire. This study showed that there were 11 respondents (25%) with splendid level of knowledge criteria, sin respondents (13,63%) with good criteria, 10 respondents (22,73%) with standard criteria, three respondent (6,82%) with less criteria, and 14 respondents (31,82) with fail criteria. The average level of dental caries knowledge is 58,68 with less criteria. According to the result of this study, it can be concluded that level of dental caries knowledge of fifth grade student is in fail criteria.
