- Dental and oral health care services are one form of health services carried out with a promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative approach that is carried out in an integrated and sustainable manner with the target of activities being shown to vulnerable groups in this case elementary school children. Promotive efforts are in the form of counseling to increase knowledge about tooth brushing, and joint toothbrush action. The aim of the study was for the fifth grade students of SDN 3 Batubulan to determine the level of knowledge of dental and oral health and tooth brushing behavior. This type of research is descriptive by using survey design. Respondents of this study were all fifth grade students of Batubulan Elementary School totaling 38 people. The results of this study were the highest level of dental and oral health knowledge with many as 12 students (31,60%), and their meanings were 2550 (67,10) including sufficient criteria. Tooth brushing behavior with the most good criteria is as many as 31 students (81,60%), and the average is 2800 (73,70) included in the criteria of good. The conclusion of this study is that the fifth grade students of SDN 3 Batubulan have a level of knowledge with sufficient criteria, and tooth brushing behavior with average is included in the criteria of good.
