- Abstract. The toddler period are called the golden period of growth and development. Parents need anticipatory guidance for strengthens of children growth and development . The purpose of community service is an increased of target knowledge after being given health education about the anticipatory guidance with the media leaflet. Health education was a form of this activity by targeting mothers baby. These Activities carried out in Puskesmas Pembantu Dauh Puri on 3 to 24 July 2014. The results: there was an increased of the target knowledge after being given health education about anticipatory Guidance using media leaflets (t -7.688, p 0.000). Conclusion: The health education of anticipatory Guidance using leaflets media is beneficial to increase of the knowledge of baby mothers about the anticipatory guidance. Suggestion: similar activities resumed, better given before the baby is born. Keywords: health education, anticipatory guidance, knowledge, the baby's mother.
