  • Background: Preschoolers are children aged two to five. The age range is a golden period of a child in growth and especially language, cognitive, and emotional functions. Nationally based on PSG 2016 data on the prevalence of nutrition (underweight) of (17.9%) and overwight (4.5%). In Bali Province in 2016, the prevalence of underweight (9.1%) and (overwight) was (3.5%). Gianyar Regency prevalence of underfive in year 2016 is known prevalence of underweight (6,0%) and (overwight) equal to (3,5%). In Gianyar sub district in 2016, it is known that the prevalence of underweight (7.0%) and (overwight) is (3.5%) (Bali Provincial Health Office 2016). Method: This research was using cross sectional design with purposive sampling method. Results : The last formal education level of Higher Education is 56.3%, 40,8%have high school education, 2,8% junior high education and none of the respondent who did not complete elementary school. The level of nutrient consumption of the sample includes the level of phosphorus consumption as much as 76,1% categorized well, 1,4% enough, 22,5% less. Iron consumption level of 85,95 is categorized as good, 7% enough, 7% less. The sodium consumption rate of 53,5% is categorized well, 16,9% is enough, 29,6% less. Level of potassium consumption as much, 23,9% categorized enough, 76,1% less and no good categorized. Fat nutritional status 5,6%, normal nutritional status of 74,6% and nutritional status 19,7%. There is no correlation spearman between maternal education level with consumption level (phosphor, iron, and sodium) of kindergarten children and there is correlation spearman between maternal education level and consumption level (potassium) of kindergarten children. There is no correlation between level of micronutrient consumption phosphorus, iron, sodium and potassium) with nutritional status of kindergarten children.
