The study was&#xD; designed in a qualitative method by using a descriptive case study. The&#xD; populations of this research were the fourth-semester students of the English&#xD; Department in the Academic year 2019-2020 which consisted of eight classes.&#xD; The sample of this research were 121 students taken by using convenience&#xD; sampling. The interference model is more dominant than the&#xD; skill deficit model. Other findings result indicated that the factors that cause their&#xD; speaking anxieties are less of vocabulary, lack of speaking practice, and did not&#xD; find the words to express their feelings/thoughts. The writer also found that&#xD; practice a lot, make a group discussion/speaking club, and use English in class as&#xD; much as possible can overcome the students&#x2019; speaking anxiety towards learning&#xD; English.&#xD; Based on these findings, it can be concluded that a lot of students felt&#xD; nervous and tense when practice in the speaking class so that they could not do&#xD; their best. Anxiety could affect students&#x2019; speaking performance and achievements&#xD; in the class negatively. The lecturers need to provide their students with some&#xD; ways to cope with their anxiety and make the students more enjoy the learning&#xD; process.</description><date>2020</date><type>Thesis:Thesis</type><type>PeerReview:NonPeerReviewed</type><type>Book:Book</type><language>eng</language><identifier>http://etheses.iainkediri.ac.id/2021/1/932201516%20prabab.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>eng</language><identifier>http://etheses.iainkediri.ac.id/2021/2/932201516%20bab1.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>eng</language><identifier>http://etheses.iainkediri.ac.id/2021/3/932201516%20bab2.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>eng</language><identifier>http://etheses.iainkediri.ac.id/2021/4/932201516%20bab3.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>eng</language><identifier>http://etheses.iainkediri.ac.id/2021/5/932201516%20bab4.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>eng</language><identifier>http://etheses.iainkediri.ac.id/2021/6/932201516%20bab5.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>eng</language><identifier>http://etheses.iainkediri.ac.id/2021/7/932201516%20DP.pdf</identifier><type>Book:Book</type><language>eng</language><identifier>http://etheses.iainkediri.ac.id/2021/8/932201516%20lampiran.pdf</identifier><identifier> Sa&#x2019;diyah, Za&#x2019;imatus (2020) Students&#x2019; Speaking Anxiety towards Learning English at English Department of IAIN Kediri.
