- The internship was conducted at Accounting Clinic in Auditing and Accounting division. Accounting Clinic is an accounting consultant that serves all types of companies industry and supported by some partners who are experienced and also professional. During the internship, the main task was to provide auditing and accounting services for PT MM, PT UE, PT ZT, and PT C. The types of work that has been done at Accounting Clinic starts from inputing transaction for sales, purchase, cash book, bank book, and bank statement on accounting software, calculation of bank rate in rupiah, calculate the stock for job costing, recapitulate delivery customer, audit of sales, and also tracing the stock. The obstacles during the internship was classification of transaction while inputing the transaction , incompatibility between evidence or document from client and general ledger client, and incomplete document because some document aren’t given by the client. The solutions were ask with senior staff for the classification, follow up the client when the document were incomplete, create a confirmation about incompatibility and incomplete data in audit working paper, and included as audit findings. The recommendation for accounting clinic is to make a check list of documents that should be completely given by the client, to help facilitate the financial statement process and also to help the process of internal audit.
