- The purpose of this industrial placement is to develop skills and knowledge of the students in Food Beverage Service Department. This program is taken by the writer to be able to learn and understand the hotel industry situations and gain practical knowledge for self-development. This report is written for partial fulfillment in the course curriculum and provided detail information about what activities are being undertaken by the writer during the period of time. First chapter is start with short information about hotel industry and its development in Indonesia. The writer also gave a background reasons for chooses Bali and the hotel for the industrial placement. This report also contains details of industrial placement’s procedures and its purposes. In the next chapter, the writer is giving explanations about hotel history with the descriptions of facility provided and organizational chart with the responsibilities of every position. After that the writer mentions about coordination from each department, workflow during the industrial placement, and the writer’s job descriptions. Next chapter the writer explained about problems that was appears during the program with the solutions that should be used. In the last chapter contains a conclusions and recommendations from the hotel, campus, and also readers.
