Daftar Isi:
- In this research, the stabilization material used is calcium carbonate limestone (CaCO3) which is a byproduct of PT Petrokimia Gresik. The stabilized soil is clay soil Sukolilo. The percentage of CaCO3 lime for stabilization is varied (20%, 30%, 40% dan 50%) and substituted in different times 10, 20, 30, and 60 days. Calcium of CaCO3 containing Ca and CaCO3 amounted by 27.64% and 69.10%. The content of the metal weighs is below the permissible threshold, so it is safe to use as a stabilizer. Sukolilo clay soil can be classified as soil soft clay with very high potential swelling. Physical properties of clay increased with the increasing percentage of stabilized CaCO3 limestone material mixed; the maximum increase occurs when the blended stabilization material reaches 50%. At 30 days of stabilization age, soil physical properties decreased; after this, it will be increasing again with increasing stabilization age.
