- This thesis discusses the problem between a futures broker, PT Jalatama Artha Berjangka and its customer named Yuhelmi S. Sos., Where an illegal act was committed by PT Jalatama Artha Berjangka in the customer recruitment process. This is reviewed in Article 1365 of the Civil Code and general theories regarding acts against the law. This study states that PT Jalatama Artha Berjangka has committed an illegal act by promoting a job advertisement which aims to find customers, does not pay attention to customers' financial capabilities and does not explain risks to customers as stipulated in the futures trading law.
