- Transit Oriented Development (TOD) is an area design concept that combines the functions of transit with humans, activities, buildings, and public spaces. This concept provides a number of advantages for the region and society such as reducing private vehicle use, road congestion, air pollution increasing regional accessibility and providing development that prioritizes pedestrians and cyclists. The city of Jakarta is expected to face total congestion in 2020. It is estimated that this traffic problem will cause some economic losses accumulated from several aspects such as time, fuel, and health problems. The city of Jakarta has experienced congestion issues for decades and one of the reasons is that the City of Jakarta has not implemented the full TOD concept. Dukuh Atas is an area that has a very high potential to become a TOD area and is one of the complex interchange in Jakarta. Dukuh Atas is predicted to be the main transportation mobility center because it has access to 5 types of transportation modes. However, the Dukuh area, due to the disconnectivity between modes of transportation and regional accessibility, is caused by physical limitations in the area so that Dukuh Atas requires a structuring and supporting infrastructure elements in the form of transportation hubs that not only act as a multi-modal supporting infrastructure, but also facilitate regional accessibility and mobility. in order to increase the ease and convenience of users of transportation modes and communities to move so that they can reduce the use of private vehicles that cause congestion in the city of Jakarta.
