- Throughout history, Indonesia's governmental system had changes, for the best or worst, and part of its changes were influenced by the movements that activists and university students had made. Unfortunately the struggles they had gone through are underappreciated by the younger generations. Study cases that had been done proved that the history museums in Jakarta isn't enough to interest them in studying of our nation's history. A museum about students' movements to appreciate the previous generations is needed to piqued their interest in history and hopefully can implement and grow their fighting spirit and nationalism feel in the younger generations. This research will discuss the topic of Sensescape Architecture, the main theory that will be used as the design's approach. The theory make use of the human's five senses in the purpose to recreate the emotions pictured on the events that lead to the movements to the visitors. The whole research design will include (1) Understanding museum typologies and analyzing its problem(s), (2) Understanding Sensescape Architecture theory and its implementation in both interior and exterior design, (3) Analyzing the zoning of heritage trail that realtes to student movements, and (4) Design simulation of the museum with Sensescape Architecture.
