- Children facing the Law (ABH) are children aged 0-18 years who are caught in the law, regardless of their role as suspects, victims and witnesses. ABH has the right to get the right treatment in the healing process, but in reality ABH is still often combined with adult prisoners. This condition certainly causes some negative impacts, such as their psychosocial condition is disturbed because they are not properly accommodated in a good and proper environment. To get the proper treatment, the ABH stipulated in the law is placed on Social Rehabilitation specifically dealing with the ABH case. In Jakarta, Social Rehabilitation for ABH has only one Social Rehabilitation, BRSAMPK Handayani, which has handled ABH for the past 44 years. To be able to complete the psychosocial conditions in ABH, the role of architecture is needed to accommodate this phenomenon. To respond to the psychosocial conditions of the ABH, the therapeutic architecture method was used so that when ABH was declared able to return with the family, the psychosocial condition had become better. The use of the therapeutic architecture method will be implemented into the design of the area and the architectural building itself so that the ABH can be more comfortable and feel more relaxed in Social Rehabilitation.
