- This study aims to improve learning motivation and learning achievement IPS through learning model make a match. This research is a class act. This study was conducted in primary schools Karangnongko 2. Subjects in this study were students of class V totaling 31 students. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire, observation and tests. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative percentage. The results showed that 1) The use of the learning model make a match can increase students' motivation, demonstrated in pre-cycle students with high learning motivation reached 45.16%, increased in the first cycle to 67.57% and 83.78% in the second cycle. 2) The use of the learning model make a match can improve learning achievement IPS, it can be seen on mastery learning students, pre-cycle students who reach the KKM 16 students (51.61%), increased in the first cycle of 24 students (77.42% ) and the second cycle increased to 27 students (87.10%)..
