- AbstractThis study aims to explain how the identification of strategies for improving people’swelfare in Kecamatan Sungaiambawang Kabupaten Kuburaya. The research methodused descriptive method with qualitative approach. The method of collecting data fromthis research is interview, observation, and documentation study. Data analysis techniqueused in this research is data analysis technique model of Miles and Hubbermanthat is data reduction, display data and withdrawal of conclusion. The results are: First,the identification of physical infrastructure development strategy in order to improve thewelfare of the people of Sungaiambawang sub-district is done through several things including:(1) strategy to improve the quality of planning, implementation and supervisionof development in the regions and villages; (2) development strategy and development offast growing area, that is program of development of industrial estate and public housingdevelopment; and (3) procurement strategy for trans trans shipment of Kalimantanand Kuburaya-Singkawang-Sambas silk road. Second, the identification of educationdevelopment strategy in order to improve the welfare of the people of Sungaiambawangsub-district are: (1) providing 0 km basic education facilities and putting education personnelin remote areas; (2) adding vocational schools (3) ) held a package program Aand B to address the illiterate community. Third, the identification of health developmentstrategy in order to improve the welfare of the people of Sungaiambawang sub-districtare: to socialize and empower the community with participative approach.
