- The Experiment was conducted to study the effect of several inoculants on the rate of rice straw composting. It used a completely Randomized Design with five relications and four treatments, is i.e: a) rice straw without inoculants, b) rice straw + animal manures, c) rice straw + mixed culture of cellulolytic and nitrogen fixing bacterias inoculants, d) rice straw + mixed culture of cellulotytic bacterians inoculants + urea. The experiment result showed that application of several inoculants increased compoting rate of rice straw. The fastest rate of composting was showed by mixed by mixed culture of celulotytic and nitrogen fixing bacterias inoculants Key Word: inoculants, rice straw cmoposting
