- The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of: teaching quality, teacher quality, school location, religion, school facilities, school image, school fees, school environment, and school security towards decision making parents in choosing Islamic primary school Al-Azhar 32 Padang. The population of this study are parents of students of Islamic Elementary School Al-Azhar 32 Padang registered academic year 2017/2018. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The primary data was collected by using questionnaires given to 260 parents of students who became respondents. Hypothesis testing is done by using Multiple Linear Regression and Partial Test (t-Test). The results showed that the factors that significantly influence the parents in decision making choose SDIA 32 Padang are the quality of teaching, religion, school image, and school fees. Other factors such as teacher quality, school location, school facilities, school environment, and school security have no significant effect.
