- Polygamy is only possible to be realized for Moslem male civil government officer with certain reason as follows:rn• No objection from his wife (or previous wives)rn• Suffers from physical disability or uncurable sicknessrn• Can not bear a child (being barren/infertile)rnBesides what have been stated above, one should fulfill the traditional requirement and is capable to support (care) his wife (wives) and families, physically as well as financially. He should be just and fair toward them. As a civil government officer, he should have consent from the local, court of religion too.
