- ABSTRACTThis research aims to improve the participation and thematic learning outcomes of student the problem based learning model of grade I SD Blotongan 02 Salatiga. The type of research used is classroom action research. This research used two cycles, each each cycle has produced like, planning, action, observation, and reflection. Qualitatitve data analysis technique in the form of data analysis of participation student and quantitative data analysis technique in the form of data analysis thematic learning outcomes. The result of this research indicate the application of problem based learning model can improve the participation and thematic learning outcomes of object, animals, and plant in around with lesson content PPKn, Indonesian Languange, and SBdP. This indicated by improvement of participation in recycling by 37%, a cycle I by 59% and cycle II by 89%. This has an impact on thematic learning outcomes of cognitive in recycling by 56%, a cycle I by 89% and cycle II by 93%. While in the thematic learning outcomes of psychomotorin recycling by 63%, a cycle I by 70% and cycle II by 96%.Keywords: Problem Based Learning, Participation, Thematic Learning Outcomes ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi dan hasil belajar tematik melalui model problem based learningsiswa kelas 1 SD Blotongan 01 Salatiga. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua siklus, masing-masing siklus memiliki prosedur antara lain perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik analisis data kualitatif berupa analisis data partisipasi siswa dan data kuantitatif berupa analisis data hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan penerapan model problem based learning dapat meningkatkan partisipasi dan hasil belajar tematik pada tema benda, hewan dan tanaman di sekitarku dengan muatan pelajaran PPKn, Bahasa Indonesia dan SBdP. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan partisipasi siswa pada pra siklus sebesar 37%, siklus I sebesar 59% dan siklus II sebesar 89%. Hal ini berdampak pada hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif persentase pra siklus sebesar 56%, siklus I sebesar 89%, dan siklus II sebesar 93%, sedangkan pada ranah psikomotor persentase pra siklus sebesar 63%, siklus I sebesar 70%, dan siklus II sebesar 96%.Kata kunci: Problem Based Learning, Partisipasi, Hasil Belajar Tematik.
