- Nowadays, the tourism in Indonesia, especially in Java island is experiencing growth of visitors. These visitors are often confused about which tourism destination to go or what kind of tourism place they want to enjoy in Java island, because information is insufficient and there are no references for them to see about tourism in Java island. This problem is the trigger to develop this Java island tourism data mining application. By using this application, visitors of Java island tourism may have references of some interesting tourism places and types of tourism provided. The use of data mining analysis was conducted using PHP script which is also known as Hypertext Preprocessor. This research is designed with Naïve Bayes method. This analysis has been tested from the functionality preview. After the analysis have been conducted, conclusions are made. The Naïve Bayes method has some mathematic calculation which used to determine the probability of types of tourism likely prefered for a pointed province in Java island.
