- Since 2010 authors have benn developing ultra high performance concrete (UHPC)using the local Indonesian materials. Ours UHPC consists of ordinary portland cement SNI type 1, quartz sand, marble powder, micro silica, and superplasticizer. Our concrete mix design is able to achieve compressive strength of 130 MPa - 140 MPa in average.From our experiences, the ductility and tensile strength of UHPC can be increased by adding 1% - 2% volume of polypropylene fiber in the concrete mixing, which is designated as ultra high performance polypropylene fiber reinforced concrete (UHPPFRC).
