- Entering the era of globalization, advances in information and communication technologies that bring Internet network allows students to find a variety of character-forming values. Catholic Religion Education is important to instill Christian values. However, the study results indicate a lack of understanding of the knowledge dimension of religiosity, lack of respect, and responsibility. Students need learning models to analyze and clarify Catholic values. Therefore, researchers take corrective action by applying the Values Clarification Technique (VCT). This study aims to: (1) describe the process and implementation steps of VCT, (2) analyze the development of the understanding of the knowledge dimension of religiosity, (3) analyze the development of an attitude of respect, (4) to analyze the development of responsibility, and (5) identify obstacles and seek solutions. This study uses PTK, which was carried out through three cycles and was done in grade XI Science 2 at SMA Charitas Jakarta, with the 79 students as the subject. Data were collected through observation, written test, self-assessment, interviews and field notes, and analyzed descriptively qualitative. The results showed: (1) the corrective actions undertaken in accordance with the steps VCT, (2) an increase understanding of the knowledge dimension of religiosity each cycle, (3) an increase comity of each cycle, (4) an increase in the responsibilities of each cycle, and (5) the constraints faced by the limitations of time, lock the ability to express opinions, and the lack of experience in the application of VCT con be overcome.
