- Abstract This study aims to describe the meaning hidden in the advertisement as well as the character education values contained in the advertisement of Being the Best with the Best Internet Telkomsel. The type of research used in this study is qualitative descriptive. The source of the data in this study is advertising, which is the advertisement of the Best with the Best Internet Telkomsel. The data in this study are in the form of writing, pictures and sounds that are meaningful and something that contains the value of character education. This research was obtained using the reading and note-taking method. The results of this study indicate the markers and markers in the advertisement, then through the relationship of signifiers and markers arises the meaning of denotation, connotation, and myths contained in the advertisement. The results of the study of the value of character education are three values, namely: hard work, social care, and responsibility.
