- The purpose of this study was to analize the different between the financial performance of Bank Muamalat before and after the statement officially by The National Ulama Council (MUI) about the forbidden of interest and interest is the same with riba. which is seen from some of the financial analysis ratio used as the measurement of the evaluation which where compare between two groups of observation. Based on the finding of ratio analysis, whith compare the condition before and after fatwa MUI showed that Bank Muamalat condition of financial performance increased after fatwa MUI. This condition represent that Bank Muamalat has positive response whith this fatwa to increase its financial performance
