- The implementation of the Ngelungah ceremony is full of very unique rules, both regarding the time of implementation, the means of the ceremony, the series of implementation, and the taboos that must be implemented. This study aims to encourage the implementation of the Ngelungah ceremony in Pakraman Mendoyo Dauh Tukad Village, Mendoyo District, Jembrana Regency, to analyze the function of the Ngelungah ceremony, find educational values contained in the implementation of the Ngelungah ceremony in Pakraman Mendoyo Dauh Tukad Village, Mendoyo District, Jembrana Regency. Research is a literature study and document study. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative exploratory analysis techniques. This research found: (1) The process of implementing the Ngelungah ceremony in Mendoyo Dauh Tukad Village, namely: first the preparation for the Upakara and the ceremony for the implementation of matur piuning in marajan and requesting Tirta Pengentas Ngelungah to Siwa, The essence of the implementation of the Ngelungah ceremony: thank you to Prajapati, continue with Tirta’s nunas will carry out the Ngelungah ceremony, pinandita performs the Ngutpeti “Petra” ceremony at gegumuk, and hold a stiti for Petra by sprinkling the panglukatan tirta and pengentas on the bungkak nyuh ivory pengawak penyeneng, the cremation ceremony which is generated in the nyuh ivory bunk, immediately carrying out the weaving, activities at the end of the ngerorasin ceremony, it is enough to set pejati at the beginning, then continue to carry out self-cleaning with prayascita. Ngelungah ceremony is based on the desire and belief to clean and purify the rare from its fatigue so that it quickly returns to the Panca Maha Butha element and one day does not become Butha Cuil. (2) Function of Ngelungah Ceremony: Religious Function, Mutual function. (3) The Value of Education in the Ngelungah Ceremony: The value of Tattwa Education can be seen in the form of Banten and Yadnya that are offered, the Values of Ethics which emphasize harmonious relationships, the Value of Aesthetic Education, the form of gratitude for Dewi Sri can be returned and manifested through the offering of everything in the form of art.
