Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Perilaku Menabung Mahasiswa UIB di Kota Batam

- Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh faktor perilaku menabung mahasiswa UIB di Kota Batam. Fokus penelitian ini adalah menganalisa faktor-faktor perilaku menabung dengan melihat pengaruh dari financial literacy, parental socialization, peer characteristic, dan self-control. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 180 orang mahasiswa UIB di Kota Batam, uji hipotesis menggunakan regresi berganda dengan software statistik IBM SPSS versi 21.0. Hasil dari riset ini menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan positif self-control terhadap perilaku menabung. Namun financial literacy, parental socialization, dan peer characteristic berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap perilaku menabung. ********************************************************************** This study aims to analyza the effect of UIB’s student saving behavioral factors in Batam City. The focus of this study is to analyze the factors of saving behavior by looking at the effects of financial literacy, parental socialization, peer characteristic, and self-control. The sample of this study was 180 UIB’s students in Batam City, hypothesis testing using multiple regression with IBM SPSS version 21.0 statistical software. The results of this research show a significant positive effect of the self-control on saving behavior. But financial literacy, parental socialization, and peer characteristic have no significant effect on saving behavior.
