- Media is a tool needed in learning activities that aim to help students understand the subject matter easily. This study aimed at finding out the validity of interactive CD media based on characters in Perkembangan Peserta Didik subject. This research including research development. Model of Research in the used (four models-D) model. Development of four D model consists top four main stage namely determine, design develop and disseminate. Results of Phase develop that validation. Validation results conducted by the three-expert validators showed that interactive CD media based on characters, in general, are in the category of valid. Based on aspects that are seen, content aspect is in valid category, graphic aspect is in valid category, motivation aspect is in valid category, and language as well as legibility is also in valid category. The results of the validation assessment shows that the media that researchers develop is useful to be used in the learning process. Keywords: validation, interactive CD media, characters
