- The focus this research are role of social capital analysis to increasing of the economic post natural disaster in west Sumatra province, and searching out of appropriate strategy to powerfull the social capital among society in the future. This research well to do new institutional economic of paradigm with result that the analysis approach execute are use of game theory model to display the strategy of official province and residence government to cooperative in forcefull social capital for increasing growth and welfare economics. The research result indicate that social capital are real and positive linkages with regional development (IPM). More and more the sense of trust to indicated by very lower of conflict regarding powerful of social capital among society in West Sumatra. The powerful social capital will be pushed highly of human development. However, the social capital are not linkages to regional economic growth. The social capital only linkages with regional income and percapita income in West Sumatra. The strengthen strategy of social capital could be obtained by cooperation between stakeholders in the case of the official province and regency as well as social institution to open space on interaction with stakeholders in social organization and so professional organization.
