- The objective of the study research is evaluate the relationships between quality factora of FFB, final quality and rendemen of CPO during November 2003 to October 2004. A control chart X-bar, was used to evaluate stability of FFB, quality of CPO, and the yield of CPO. The study indicated that increasing proportion of raw materials (FFB) coming from farmers outside the estates, would tends to increase the variability and lower the quality of CPO (increasing concentration of FFA and impurities/soil). In addition, increasing proportion of raw materials (FFB) coming from farmers outside the estates tend to decrease the yield of CPO. More over, correlation values between each parameter of FFB individuaaly with each quality CPO parameters and Yield tend to be increased with increasing proportional FFB coming from outside estates.
