- The research was aimed to inventory the species of edible and poisonous Mushrooms in the forest and around Tanjung Kemuning village, Kaur Regency Bengkulu Province. The research had been carried out on December 2009-January 2010. Purposive sampling method was used in collecting the species; and the data was analyzed descriptively. As the result, there were eight species of edible Mushrooms found in that place; those were Auricularia judae, A. lactea, A. polytrica, Schyzophyllum commune, Favolaschia sp, Omphalotus sp, Pleurotus ostreatus and P. sapidus. Besides, we also found eight species of poisonous Mushrooms. They were Psathyrella foenisecii, Coprinus leiocephallus, C. lagopides and C. micaceus, Gymnopus dryophilus, Lactarius vellereus, Panaelous spinchtinus and Panaeolus sp. Each species was identified based on shape, size, texture, smell, gill, pore, and substrate.
