Daftar Isi:
  • This research was aimed to investigate the role of earth worms (Postoscolex corethurus) on the growth and production of organic onion (Allium ascalonicum). Research was carried out by Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 6 replications. The treatments were V0 (as a control/ without earthworms), V1 (10 earthworms /poly bag), V2 (20 earth worms/poly bag), and V3 (30 earthworms/poly bag). The result showed that data of all parameters measured were non statistically significant difference. However, the average wet biomass growth, bulbs weight, bulbs number, and bulbs diameters tend to increase along with the addition of umber of earthworm population. The high productivity on the V3 was estimated up to 18.81 tons/ha, and the lowest on V0 was 14.73 tons/ha.
