PARASITOID STADIUM TELUR PADA KUPU-KUPU PAPILIO DEMOLEUS LINN. (LEPIDOPTERA PAPILIONIDAE)DI TANAMAN JERUK KALAMANSI (CITROFORTUNELLA MICROCARPA)

  • ABSTRACT The study has been carried out from January until June 2010 by. The research conducted in two areas, Development of Agriculture BAPTIS (Baptis Rular Development Model) in Pondok Kubang Village Bengkulu and Laboratory Entomology at Biology department, Bengkulu University. Eggs of butterfly Papilio demoleus Linn. collected by using exploration method. The eggs were kept into the Laboratory of Entomology for further observation and identification. The results shown that 20 eggs were collected from field, 10 eggs were hatched, 4 eggs unhatched and 6 eggs were infected by parasitoid. There were 4 parasitoids infected of the eggs of butterfly Papilio demoleus (Lepidoptera: Papilionidae), they were Ooencyrtus sp.1, Ooencyrtus sp.2, Ooencyrtus sp.3, Ooencyrtus sp.4 (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae). Percentages of parasitation for each of them were 20%, 5%, 5% and 5% respectively.
