- As a matter of fact, motor engine takes a such important role in our daily life that we can not be apart of it. Motor engine needs fuel to peform where its fuel derived from unrenewable fossil nature. Because of tremendous in creasing amount of motor vehicles and growing population of the word, someday we will lacle of its unrenewable fuel. This huge condition makes us search alternative fuel. Ethanol is renewable form to compare the use of Shell fuel and mixture ethanol to Shell performance, this experiment research was conducted. This research use a dynamometer test equipment and Honda Supra Fit motor cycle engine and the fuel of Shell Super an percentage mixture of ethanol (E0) 0% , (E2,5) 2,5% , (E5) 5% , (E7,5) 7,5% and (E10) 10%. Based on the fuel use of Shell Super and mix ethanol know that the highest torque (Ʈm) generated by the mixture of ethanol and Shell Super (E10) of8,02 N.m at engine rotation 4460,32 rpm. The highest power (hp) generated by the mixture of ethanol and Shell Super (E10) of 8.07 hp at engine rotation 8655,56 rpm. The most efficient Specific Fuel Comsumtion (SFC) is generated by the us of mixture ethanol with Shell Super (E10) of 0.085 kg / hp.h at engine rotation 8655,56 rpm.
