- This study ai med to identify influence of politi cal f a c t o r s and organizatio n al culture to utilization o f information perfor mance ( ado p tion a n d i mpleme ntation ) on loc a l govern me nt institutions . T h e political factor cons ist of : extern al grou p and intern al gro up and varia bles o f organ izatio na l culture w ere measu red by per s onal attitudes within the i n s t i t u t i o n s . The respondens involv e d in the study w ere 203 of echelo n 2 offici als, echelon 3 offic ial s, e chelon 4 of ficials at the institution in Bengkulu Tow n. Multiple linear r e g r e s s i o n s a naly si s was used in the study.The result of the study indicates that inte rnal g roup and attitudes h ad a significant a ffect to the adoption t he utilizat ion of perfor mance i n f o r ma t i o n . F urther mor e, the external group, internal group and attitudes ha d a s i g n i f i c a n t affect to the imple me ntation of the perf or ma nce me asur e ment.
