- Has done research on the analysis of the influence of tectonic activity on Dempo volcano in Pagar Alam city be based on the data seismicity. The data used is the data seimisitas throughout 2005 to 2011 with data analysis based on the amount of seismic energy. Analyses were performed using the excel program to see the relationship between the both earthquakes and using matlab program to see the pattern of the both earthquake. After the analysis tectonic activity of the west coast of Sumatra very influence the increase in Dempo vulkano activity where before the great earthquake 7.9 skala richter in September 2007 Dempo volcanic activity is relatively small. After the great earthquake an increase in volcanic activity and reached a maximum of three months after the earthquake tectonic.
