- The purpose of this study was to determine the form of the IDF curve rainfall levels in the city of Bengkulu , find a picture of monthly and annual cycle of rainfall Bengkulu City , knowing the form of the characteristic intensity level of rainfall in the city of Bengkulu . The method used in this study is a secondary data processing rainfall for 13 years ( 2000-2012 ) using Microsoft Excel software using the equation Mononobe . Having obtained the rainfall intensity was then made the relationship between the time ( year ) on the amount of rainfall each year in the graphic overlay normal rainfall for 13 years . Results obtained from IDF curves shows that high rainfall intensity takes place in a short duration , monthly and annual cycle of rainfall in the city of Bengkulu varies with the highest intensity 1,898601462 ( mm / hour ) and the lowest intensity 0,404294592 ( mm / hour ) , and shape characteristics of rainfall intensity tends Normal Bengkulu City.
