- This research aims to know the composition of zooplankton on lake Dendam Tak Sudah Bengkulu city ecosystem. This research is done from May 10 2013 by using “Purposive Random Sampling” on 4 station based on different environment. The Zooplankton’s samples were taken by using plankton net no.25. Parameters being measured are abundance, relative abundance, diversity index and similarity index. It is found on 3 different class which is Maxillopoda,Branchiopoda and Eurotatoria, 5 ordo, 12 family and 13 genus. The most prevalent genus in distribution are Macrosetella, Oncaea, Candacia, Euchaeta and Acartia. While Euterpina and Diaptomus (larva)only were found on 1 station. The highest ordo was belongs to Calanoid approximately 3.69 ind/l, while Flosculariaceae is the lowest. The highest composition of zooplankton was in station 2. The highest total abundance in station 2 is 3.93 ind/l, then followed by station 4 (3,48 ind/l), station 3 (3.06 ind/l) and station 1 (2.82 ind/l). The highest number on diversity index (H’)was on station 1 (1.783), then station 3 (1.581), station 2(1.504) and station 4 (1,146). The highest similarity index (E)was on station 3 (0.760),then station 1 (0.743), station 4 (0.639) and station 2 (0.627).
