- Damage of tropical rain forest in Indonesia is not quit of policy of Indonesia forestry making forest as object most dragmatis give short advantage within. Social forest according to definition of Gilmour and of Fisher which [is] Soemarwoto disitasi ( 2000) [is] operation and management of forest sumberdaya by local society to fulfill requirement of rumahtangga and as inwrought shares of local agriculture system. This research aim to know Preferensi farmer to commodity of MPTS which [is]proposed in program of HKM. This Preferensi earn seen from knowledge, attitude and hobby of farmer to commodity of MPTS which [is] proposed in program of HKM. To know [relation/link] [among/between] farmer preferensi to crop type of MPTS with background knowledge of farmer in the case of farming. This research [is] designed by deskriftip qualitative. Determination of research sampel with method of judgement sampling. Technics [of] [done/conducted] data collecting that is passing kuisioner, interview and supported by documentation. Result of analysis of menunjukan that society preferensi to commodity of MPTS in program of HKM this [is] Walnut type, with percentage 4,58%. this Society choice pursuant to [at] that walnut crop characteristic and knowledge, and also because of economic value factor of walnut.
