- The main objective of this study was to know the influence of locus of control and the Islamic work ethic on employee performance of Muamalat bank in Bengkulu. The result of this study is expected to provide input to the management of Muamalat bank doing the right strategy in order to improve the employee performance by applying the Islamic work ethic. The type of this study is a quantitative analysis. The data of this study was callected by using a questionnaires distributed to 49 employees of Bengkulu Muamalat bank, who were all muslims selected by using proportional random sampling. The analysis of the data conducsed by processing the data using SPSS for windows 16:00. The results of regression analysis showed that the variable locus of control and variable Islamic work ethic positive effect on employee performance of Bengkulu Muamalat bank, so it can be concluded that the employees of Bengkulu Muamalat bank performance good employees.
