- The purpose of this study is the first to prove empirically that there is a positive influence on the implementation of good corporate governance in the company of the company's performance as measured by ROE. And the second is to prove that there is a positive influence on the implementation of Good Corporate governanceterhadap firm value as measured by Tobins Q. In this study the sampling is done using a purposive sampling method with the specified criteria. In addition, this study uses data sourced from Indonesia and the stock exchange index CGPI from 2008 -2010. Testing the hypothesis in this study carried out by using the four equations, namely the first and second equation to test the first hypothesis. The third and fourth equations are used to test the second hypothesis. From the results of hypothesis testing can be concluded that H1 accepted and H2 is rejected. The results of this study is the implementation of good corporate governance can affect corporate performance in a positive and significant but was unable to significantly affect the value of the company.
