- The purpose of this research is to analysis the influence of Price to Book Value (PBV), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Earning Per Share (EPS), and Return On Equity (ROE) upon the prices of the PT Etrading recommended stock. The period of data observation in this research was from the first quarter of year 2007 up to the fourth quarter of year 2011, so the time series data are 20 quarters. The recommended stock in this research is INDY, ASRI, BBKP, BSDE, and BUMI. Therefore, the N-data in this research become 100-pooling data. This research used the statistic of linier multiple regression in order to examine the influence of Price to Book Value (PBV), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Earning Per Share (EPS), and Return On Equity (ROE) upon these stocks (INDY, ASRI, BBKP, BSDE, and BUMI). The result of this research show that Price to Book Value (PBV), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Earning Per Share (EPS), and Return On Equity (ROE) influence the prices of these stocks (INDY, ASRI, BBKP, BSDE, and BUMI) simultaneously with the Adjusted R Square of 0.527, significance at 0.000(at 1% probability error). However, partially only the Price to Book Value (PBV), Earning Per Share (EPS), and Return On Equity (ROE) influence the prices of those stocks. The indicator of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) has no influence upon the prices of INDY, ASRI, BBKP, BSDE, and BUMI. In conclusion, the result of this research can be used by investor with the combination of other external factors that also influence the prices of those stock.
