- The objective this study is to determine whether the BCA financial performance has influence on the BCA stock prices. The research question is why the BCA stock prices some time decrease and then increase again, whether the financial performance has influence on the BCA stock prices. Theoretically the BCA stock prices must be influenced by the financial performance; unfortunately that as if the fact the financial fundamental theory sometime is not true. The data in this study are limited only from the year 2007 up to year 2011 or 20 quarterly periods. The variables in this study are the Earning per Share (EPS), Return on Equity (ROE), and the BCA stock prices. In order to determine the influence of these variables on the stock prices, then statistical analysis of the regression was conducted. The result shows that simultaneously both variables (EPS and ROE) have influence on the BCA stock prices; however partially only the Earning per Share (EPS) significantly influenced the BCA stock prices. In conclusion, the Earning per Share (EPS) must be considered by the investor in making decision to buy or to sell the BCA stock.
